The North Wilkesboro Presbyterian Church stands ready for service to the congregation for their spiritual growth, Christian nurture, and pastoral care and to the community for the ministry of compassion and service. The church offers weekly worship in the Reformed Tradition with a complete musical offering of choirs, hand bells, two children’s choirs, instrumental offerings with piano and Allen pipe organ as well as other guest musicians to enhance the worship experience.

The church is equipped with a complete building facility including sanctuary, fellowship hall, fully equipped kitchen, church library, preschool center and playground, classrooms, youth center, and scout rooms. We have a fully certified, equipped and staffed preschool program for two, three, and four-year-olds with some need based scholarship support. All buildings are handicapped accessible.  Most of the facilities are available for authorized service organizations and non-profit groups by contacting the church office at 336/667-1288. Our Chapel on Main Street in Wilkesboro provides an early service at 9:00 A.M. each Sunday morning as well as adult Bible classes taught by a trained and experienced ordained Presbyterian minister.

The Church and Chapel engage in outreach ministries through evangelism, support for the hungry, needy, and homeless by supporting local social service agencies.  We have recently completed our third Habitat for Humanity home project.  We support national and worldwide mission programs on seven continents through our affiliation with the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A. and engage in mission service projects – youth and adult – annually.
